I found Yani through one of her YouTube High Llamas covers. We share an affinity for the amazing Sean O'Hagen. Scott, I really like your sound. Your lyrics are uniquely person and your musical vibe is fresh and rich. Your voice reminds me of Thief (check out "Atlantic" on their Sunchild CD or their work with Jazzanova). I'm always thrilled to find artists making the kind of music that moves me. [Musically, I go back to the '60s and worship the likes of Laura Nyro, Burt Bacharach, Todd Rundgren, Brian Wilson, pretty much anything "sunshine pop" - you get the idea, I'm sure. Am curious where you came from musically. I friended you on Facebook via Yani. Let me know if you ever play NYC (same goes for Yani!). Cheers, JOHNAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09624654873370608698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051654697623238254.post-2091934698611725262014-04-15T07:05:24.510-07:002014-04-15T07:05:24.510-07:00Wonderful interview!
